For decades, mobile-home owners have made up one of the largest — and most misunderstood — segments of American housing.

Millions of people across the U.S. live in manufactured homes. They are retirees, working families, veterans, and young homeowners trying to afford housing in an increasingly expensive market. Yet when it comes time to buy, sell, finance, insure, transport, or repair a mobile home, the process is often fragmented, confusing, and risky.

Unlike traditional real estate, there has never been a single trusted place for mobile-home owners to turn.

That gap has real consequences. Homeowners are more vulnerable to scams. Reputable businesses struggle to reach customers. Park owners and tenants lack transparency. And many residents are forced to rely on word-of-mouth or outdated Facebook groups to make major financial decisions.

Mharketplace was created to change that.

Based just outside of Austin in Buda, Mharketplace is a consumer-first platform designed specifically for people who live in and own mobile homes. The goal is simple: give residents a safer way to buy and sell homes and a trusted place to find verified businesses that support every aspect of mobile-home ownership — from lending and insurance to transport and contractors.

Instead of monetizing homeowners, Mharketplace generates revenue from businesses that want to reach qualified customers — aligning incentives while keeping the platform free and accessible for residents.

We're starting in Texas, where manufactured housing plays a major role in affordability, and expanding state-by-state across the country. By the fall, Mharketplace will be live nationwide.

This isn't about disrupting housing. It's about finally building infrastructure for a community that has been overlooked for far too long.

Mobile-home owners deserve the same transparency, trust, and tools that other homeowners take for granted. Mharketplace exists to make that possible.
